Cannot install WMP11 or install windows updates

Cannot install WMP11

Cannot update .Net 1.1

I DO have SP2, and WMP11 says I dont.

If I have let any personal information slip through in the screenshots, please tell me. I tried my best to remove it.
Also, I have not been able to update .Net 1.1 for 2 months, but I did install one update 3 weeks ago. Everything installed but .Net failed AGAIN.
Please help.

try reformatting and reinstalling windows again.

Any other options? iTunes wont backup my library and I dont want to lose my id3 tags on playcount etc.

You can always call MS. If you can't patch their OS, they handle the call for free.

Um, do you have RU2 installed like WMP11 wants?

I'd do a repair install and see where that gets you. Usually fixes things like this.

He means UR2 == Update Rollup 2.

For the .NET one, you might need to reinstall .NET 1.1 SP1 and then try downloading 886903 again from WU.
