Every time I've attempted to install mohaa on xp pro, I get "catastrophic errors", which then kill the installer. I have all Windows updates installed, and there's currently no OCing going on in ma system. I though at first maybe it was Norton AV 2k2 in the tray, but disabling that didn't alleviate the problem. Neither did changing the CD drive from "multi word DMA mode 2" to "PIO only". Neither did copying the game CD's to HD and installing off of there. Norton WinDoctor won't find any problems either. I've tried this numerous times, and people on the various MOH forums around the net can't seem to figure it out either. My game CD is a retail purchased one too. Anyone?

I had the same problems with XP, it just wont work, I updated all drivers, etc and it just crashes. I have to swap my drive and use my ME OS for it to work. Luckily I have drive trays that I just slide in and out. I tried everything I could think of without any luck with XP, hope somebody else has a good idea for you...

I have mohaa on my system running under winxp. it runs great with no problems or any crashes ever since I have gotten it.
Plus it installed easily as well with no problems.

amd 900@1ghz
256mb ram crucial ram cl 2
gef2 gts oc as well running 27.42 reference drivers
iwill kk266+r running in raid-0 config
I do not use the via ide busmaster drivers however I do use the cpu-agp cpu-pci pci-isa drivers from via 4.37 4 in 1 drivers.
I also have a plextor 12/10/32a burner with a 48x toshiba cdrom as well. Plus an old zip 100 drive with the iomega software installed so I can get it to work.
oh and I have the sb live value running just the winxp drivers. I haven't loaded them up from creative or anything cuz they seem to work just fine.
As I was reading about your specs why did you flash your bios? You aren't running an xp cpu.

I am guessing that your ram might be the problem? Pretty much the same stuff I have cept a few different things here and there that shouldn't make a difference.

Oh and I don't run an AV program either. But you said you disabled that. I am assuming that you are trying to install under adminstrator or you have set yourself up to be the admin as well.

What other proggies do you have running in the background?
