Cannot install IE6 SP1

My friends PC will not allow anyone to access to their hotmail accounts (all settings are correct in IE6). Searching the net leads me to believe this may be due to a problem with the 128bit encyption.

I am attempting to update to IE6 sp1 but whenever it trys to install I get the message that it is not digitally signed (not passed the microsoft logo test or similar message) even though its downloading from microsoft!!!

I am logged in with administrator priveleges and driver signing is set to Ignore.

Please can anybody help

Tried to access any other sites with 128-bit security?

As far as hotmail, use Outlook Express to view your mail. The web interface is pointless if you can use OE 🙂
