Cannot host any server through router...

I've been trying everything I can think of to host a server without having to disconnect from my router. I can host just fine when the cable modem is plugged straight into my computer, but that won't work because the rest of the house needs to stay hooked up as well. I'm not sure what I need to do to bypass the router's built-in firewall (or whatever). My setup is Win2k Pro, Linksys BEFSR41 Router, and my modem. What do I need to do to get a server up and running? If any more info is needed I can post it.

You need to forward the necessary ports for your server application by browsing to your router (default is 192.168.1.1 admin/admin), going to Advanced, then Forwarding.

How exactly do I go about "browsing" to my router. Just go to it through IE or what?
