It apparently sees my network SSID name and lists the name and speed, but I cannot get it to connect. I go to setup in its utility, tell it to use tell it I want to enter my network key and enter it as 128 Asci key. It accepts it. The little icon in the tray bar shows the correct network and 54 Mbps and excellent strength and connected.

I use the same key that I use for anyone that is on my network.

What am I doing wrong that will not let this work on my network?

I'm not sure I understand your question. You say in one spot it doesn't connect then you say it is connected in another spot.

I will say I had that happen a few weeks ago on my work laptop. It was a wired connection and they had replaced the router with a new one. My machine wouldn't connect after that. I looked at everything and it looked fine. My IT guy ran the Network repair option in my networks under XP and it worked fine after that. Go figure.

It would appear that I am connected to my network wirelessly from my desktop unit, but I cannot get a webpage or email via outlook to work. The little icon in the tray indicates I am connected however if I double click I get the dialog box that shows: Status - Connected,
Network - My SSID Name, Duration- 3:38:18, Speed 48 Mbps, Signal Strength -Excellent, Activity - Sent=121,396 and Received=0.

I have tried the repair thing, but it does not change anything.
