Cannot Get a UT3 LAN going

Me and my buddy have been trying to get a UT3 game going for the past 20 minutes and we cannot find each other's games. No matter what we do, we cannot seem to get into each other's games.

Can someone explain how this would work?

We both upgraded to the newest version of Hamachi. We can see the same game names in the servers, but we cannot find each other's games in Hamachi, or the game servers.
 
If it still doesn't work, then there is a compatibility issue with your firewall (or his).

If you can't join his game, let him try to join yours. It varies with different people because of their firewall so yeah. I don't really know how to fix that.

We have been able to play LAN before through Hamachi with no problems. But it still isn't working.

Would it matter that we are both using the same CD Key? I loaned him my disk and he just used my CD Key to play the game. Also, I am getting Connection Failed when I try to join any game.
 
Some games don't work out of the box with Hamachi and require some tweaking. Try visiting the forums at forums.hamachi.com and check it out.
 
Make sure that both of you have the same version of the game, possibly one of you has a patch installed that the other does not or different versions of retail. My friends and I have run into this multiple times.
 
I play UT3 with some friends over Hamachi a lot. I usually just join games by opening the console and typing open and then the IP address
