Cannot get a core temp reading

I cleaned my machine out the other day with a can of air. After plugging it all back up and rebooting I noticed I was not getting a core temp reading on AMD Overdrive. It was -256c which I know cant be right. I have tried various other programs (CPUID HWMonitor, CPU Thermometer) and do not get any reading at all. I had just done a bios update but not sure if it was working after I did it. I do get a temp reading in my bios but I am not sure if this is just the temp before the thing went fubar. I checked the wiring and all fans are operating and nothing seems to be unplugged. I am at wits end. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Steve

under the silver plate that sits ontop of your die on your cpu.

So there is no way u can fix it or get to it without majorly voiding your warrenty.

Even if u did get to it, there is no way you could fix it.

LOL..

RMA is your best option.
