Cannot Find This Essay Online! "Ways of Seeing"

My English College Professor assigned us this reading from this huge book we we're supposed to have (Containing 100s of essays). He said it was pointless to buy the book since we're only going over 3 of the essays over the course of the semester. So, I figured that I'd look up this 20-30 page essay online. So far, after googling for a little, I came up with nothing. I was wondering if there is an online version at all!?!

The essay is called "Ways of Seeing" by John Berger. There's BOOKs on this, but not an online version of this short essay. Am I screwed for the monday duedate?

It may have been "Ways of Reading" also. I cannot remember exactly. But if there IS an online version somewhere, PLEASE let me know. I cannot believe I'm going to screw up my first assignment in college.

your professor is stupid.

should of read the book. how the hell are you going to pursue the study of something pertaining to a book if you don't know what the book is about?

vietnam war, just read essays about it, don't read the books, the test date is in three weeks. stupid sh!t to me. read the damn book and look for the essays at the same time.

"i din' wanna buy it" -library?

I'm checking the Library tomarrow. But damnit, the library probably will have the "book" version. The 100s of pages i'll have to read instead, but i guess theres nothing i can do about it

I just checked a dozen or so databases for journals and articles...I find stuff by the guy, and lots of reviews of his book 'Ways of Seeing", but not much else.

Hmm, well I pinpointed how exactly this is placed:

The Book: Ways of Reading
The Essay: Ways of Seeing.
Length: 21 Pages

So it isn't a "book" im reading, its simply a shorty. I dont know why any search databases dont show anything, but if ANYONE has any information, please, I beg of you.. to share. I need to have a journal entry on this guy regarding his word usage, the point he was trying to get accross, and the notes I take when reading the essay. All by monday!

I know this is poor workmenship.. and i am usually never as forgetful as i have been.. a rough start on college.

Actually there's a book called 'Ways of Seeing', based on the BBC series about his ideas. Amazon link

I found some illustrations from the book as well: Illustrations and Amplifications

I've looked through more than 20 databases without finding any short essays by that name, though I've found other works by him.
