Cannot find msin32.dll

I have a system where, whenever a user logs into the Welcome screen on XP, it gives an error, svchost.exe cannot start because msin32.dll cannot be found.

Does anyone know what the problem is here?

I looked everywhere for a startup program or service or something using msin32. I could only find a single registry entry, for a Search bar program. I deleted the registry entry, but the error still pops up.

It sounds like you either currently have a trojan , or had one and removed it but a reference is still in the startup group. Run msconfig and uncheck msin32.dll if it's listed.
