I am trying to setup a wireless network at home. We have a US robotics router hooked up to a Cable internet which goes to the main computer. I have a wireless network card(Made by US Robotics) and I can connect to the internet and such using it.
I have sucessfully gotten the main computer to be able to browse my files through the network. When I try to "View workgroup computers", It hangs for a while(not the computer just the window, as in its searching) Then it comes up with-
mshome is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource...
The network path could not be found
I tried searching google for it but none of the solutions it gave work. I tried forcing NetBeui enabled and all the enabling file sharing junk.
What is weird to me is it seems that accessing MSHOME would have nothing to do with the other computer. Anyone have any idea what might cause this?
I am running Microsoft WinXP PRO
