Cannot delete printer in Printers and Faxes folder

I have a printer connected to a print server in my Printers and Faxes folder which I want to delete. But nothing happens when I click the Delete button. How can I get rid of it? I am running Windows XP SP2 ,btw.

This only works sometimes but you can try going into safe mode and try deleting the printer from there. It's worked for me sometimes but other times the printer just did not show up at all in safe mode but if it does showup you should have no problem deleting it from there. hope this helps.
 
Disconnect the ethernet cable & then delete it. If that doesn't work go to the registry (HCU\Printers\Connections) and delete it from there
