Cannot change signature in profile.

My sig is supposed to say AIM = PalmyBluInterior. Not PalmBluInterior. Everytime I attempt to change it, the changes do not go into effect.
 
Everytime I've heard of a problem like this, it's because someone has some illegal characters somewhere in other parts of their profiles that makes the update profile function die before it gets to do its job.

Edit one thing at a time, starting at the bottom up and see if those fields change.

It may also be because you have whitespace in your username, which has been a problem before, don't know if that was ever changed or not.
 
I had a problem with this and it was a firewall issue. I was using norton firewall. I switched to XP firewall and it worked again.
 
It's definitely a firewall issue. Turn off your firewall; make the changes and they will be accepted. Then turn on the firewall again.
