Cannot change email address

I joined the forum earlier today but after what I thought was too long a time waiting for a password to be emailed I tried to register again. I got an error message that my email address was already in use. I registered picking another user name and using my old ISP email address. I recieved a password in minutes. I then went to my profile and tried to change my email address to the one I now use ( I am now on cable ) but still get the message that the email address is in use. My only concern is on the email notification if it is sent to my old email I will not get it. Anybody know how to get the right email address in my profile.

Email the moderator and have them re-send your p/w to your current email address.

Actually, it might work better if you just use the automated request for the password for your original user id, I think that would do it? It's been awhile since I had to log in so I'm not positive, but I think there's a "Forgot your password?" option.
