Putting together a rather high end system. I do alot of videos, autocad, rendering and not much game playing.

Going with a P5N Deluxe MB, E6600 CPU, 2gb Corsair DDR800 Ram. While I would like the very best in video I cannot really afford $400-500 for an 8800 video board.

Consequently, there is a great deal on XFX PVT71PUDP3 GeForce 7900GS at NewEgg. Think this board can be had for around $140. That sounds good to me for a pretty high end board.

Your thoughts?

Do you want to buy a 8800 in the next few months? you can always buy a evga 7900gs and do the Step up program to get the 8800 when you get more loot.
