Cannot access Router Configuration

I have a D-Link DI-624. My desktop is wired directly to the router running Vista Ultimate. I have a wireless desktop and a laptop also. All three devices can access the Internet just fine. I wanted to go in and tweak a few settings along with enabling WPA-PSK, which I found out my router can handle.

I tried accessing my router config page, but I cannot access it. I try to go to the home page (192.168.0.1) and it just shows up as "cannot connect to the page at this time" Tried in both IE and Firefox. Can anyone help?
 
Start>Run
Type "cmd" (no quotes)

Type "ipconfig" (again, no quotes) and hit the Enter key

What is the IP for Default Gateway? That is the IP for your router.

What you're typing is supposed to be the IP of your D-Link, but, maybe somehow it got changed? Did you buy is used, could it have been a return at a brick and mortar store, etc? Someone could have changed it.

If that doesn't work, reset the Router. There should be a button on the back.

If you still can't get in, without going to the D-Link site and poking around, I'm out of answers. I'm not familiar with D-Link products, but it should be a straightforward process to get in.
