So i have two computers on a network, I just reformatted one of them and now i can't access it. On the computer that has been working on try to log onto the freshly formatted one and i get the message "logon failure: the user has not been granted the requested logon type at this computer". The freshly reformatted computer just gets back the message access is denied. On the reformatted machine. I have disabled simple file sharing, disabled windows firewall, I have set it on the correct workgroup, i enabled file and printer sharer, i enabled guest account. Anyone have any idea what is going on. Or honestly i am willing to start over if it will help. Thanks.
*Edit*
So i ran the net view command through c prompt and the formatted computer is able to see all the items that the good computer is sharing, but when i go to run and type \\compname\foldername i still get back the error access is denied. Hope this info sheds some more light.
