Hi all,
I have a network of 3 PCs running winXP Pro and 2K with no probs. All sharing Internet using ICS and everything works fine.
I have just got an old Toshiba 480CDT notebook running WinME. I have connected it to my LAN with a new SMC8040TX 10/100 pcmcia card. The network access is fine and I get an IP address autoassigned.
Problem is I cannot access my CableModem connection on my network. I have tried manually configuring things and also using the wizards in ME - no joy cannot access the internet from the notebook.
Please help🙁
Addition:
When I try to run winipcfg I get an error message saying "Fatal Error - cannot read IP configuration"
