Unable to access forums or www.anandtech.com, from my Verizon DSL.

Was browsing the forums earlier today, and someone linked to www.anandtech.com, and that page didn't load. I didn't think much of it, but then I went out, and when I returned, forums.anandtech.com wasn't loading for me either.

I shut down my laptop, turned off my DSL modem, unplugged my router, waited ten seconds, then I turned my DSL modem back on, waited for it to sync, then I plugged in my (DD-WRT) router, and then I turned my laptop back on.

I still couldn't access www.anandtech.com and forums.anandtech.com.

So, fearing I was IPbanned for no known reason (worried my account was hacked while I was gone), I drove to my friend's house that has Comcast. I had also called another friend in that same town that was on Comcast, and he COULD access forums.anandtech.com. So the site wasn't down.

So I cleared my cookies, and tried www.anandtech.com on Comcast. It loaded. So I tried forums.anandtech.com, and it loaded too. I tried to click on VirtualLarry and then "Show recent posts", but then it prompted me to login. Fearing the worst, I logged in, and I didn't see any new posts not by me, so it appears that my account was not hacked.

So what's the deal? Why can't I access AT forums from my house?

Edit: I should mention that I had NO TROUBLE accessing OTHER web sites.

I just managed to have the site and forums load - was "down" for me most of the evening... And I'm from Denmark. Asked a few friends and they had time-out errors too, so I figured the servers are down or something...

My NAS didn't want to work right anymore with Windows 7, so I figured that since something bad was happening, that something good would happen too, so I checked the forums, and now I can access them again.
