He's a lyrical genious and he surpasses everyone else in the rhymin department IMO. Too many people don't know about him or don't appreciate lyrics enough to realize what a genious he is (unfortunately). Get every song from him that you can - he'll keep your jaw dropping time after time - without a doubt.

Cannibus is an ill cat. His lyrics are tight but it'd be better if he used those lyrics for something other than talking 'bout battlin. He may think he's good but the rap public doesn't.

so true RG, he's def not mainstream (unfortunately). I think some compromising needs to be done though, mainstream needs to make way for some real talent as well as Canibus has to conform a little to the mainstream. Half the people I know who are into mainstream Hip Hop think Canibus ain't $hit. But anyone who appreciates lyrics automatically loves him cause his rhymes are just that hot.

I couldn't agree more. The best lyrics in the world can't make up for crap beats (and vice versa of course).

I just don't feel his songs.

/me wonders when the Alkoholics will put out a new joint. C'mon it's been since '97 for crying out loud!
