Canned Alcohol Energy Drinks..

Seriously, what is the deal with energy drinks? I could piss in a can, add 50mg caffeine, slap "ENERGY!!1!1" on the label and people would line up to pay me $10 a hit. Is it the advertising? Ever heard of coffee?

it's not the same.
wasn't it anandtech? or maybe tomshardware? that actually did a review on energy drinks? in the end coffee did work the best because you have constant access to it throughout the day (if there is a coffee maker) where as energy drinks cost more and you are normally limited to 2-3 cans a day anyway. If you go to frozencpu.com they sell the Cocaine energy drinks that has a charge of other energy drinks and coffee comparing their caffeine content and coffee seems to have the most (other than cocaine energy drink lol). also a lot of ppl don't like coffee (such as myself), coffee needs to be hot and i normally want something cold, energy drinks are like soda so i can eat it with lunch while coffee i can't, and energy drinks seem to be more instant energy though a heavier crash

First of all, giving up sex and alchol for 40 days is a terrible idea in itself. Then when day 41 rolls around and you all go right back to drinking and screwing, how did you really all better yourselves?

Anyways, Sparks isn't to bad. I drank a bunch a few nights but only because someone else was buying. If I had to pay, I'd stick to Red Bull + Vodka or Jaegermeister. Probably just because I'm used to the taste by now.

Sparks is alright -- I'd get some and drink it after work when I was beat from waiting tables all afternoon/night and was planning on going out. They seemed to wake up quite a bit and the taste is not nasty to me. Not quite as tasty as red bull, but not undrinkable! I haven't had tilt, but i know a few people who like it. Also, B&E (the Budweiser Energy Drink) isn't bad either -- I've heard that it makes a very nice Jagerbomb.

I've had the Budweiser one (whatever the fvck it's name is, B^e I think?) and Tilt. B^e is blah, Tilt is pretty good. Not something I'd drink to get drunk though, or even really buy. Gimme an Icehouse or a bottle of $6 vodka instead.

I drink Sparks sometimes when I'm broke...6 packs of tallboys are $4.99 here, for 8% ABV that's not bad at all. It makes a passable alternative to plain old malt liquor.

Sparks lite tastes much better than regular Sparks btw.

if you like candy and energy drinks, Sparks will taste good to you. I personally like the taste of it.

the green tilts (8%) one is OK at best, but for the most part sparks and tilts are pretty gross.
