When a person gets cancer if they don't find out about it how long does it take to spread thrueout their system and they start getting the effects off of it?

Also if its spread thrueout your system will you always have pain once it spreads?

Just wondering as I know a few ppl with it and am wondering it for future reference.

Different cancers react differently in different people. My grandfather died last year with throat and mouth cancer like smokers get yet he did not smoke. It grew real fast but did not really affect anything except his throat and mouth. There is no telling what cancer will do in a person.
