Cancer insurance

is cancer insurance a scam or is it a good thing to purchase?


i thought of this after i posted, i have a massage client who is a Farmers agent so i emailed her and asked her what she knows about cancer insurance and here is what she said.

It is a legit policy (but your right only if its a legit company) You have to read the fine lines, Cancer policies only cover death/some medical costs by cancer, and they typicaly are very small policies with big premiums.

Usually but I think cancer insurance is a specific supplemental insurance to cover the high costs of long term cancer treatment and extra associated costs that may not be covered by standard insurance.
