I'm moving out, so I'm cancelling my utilities. Everything goes fine until I get to SBC DSL. They wouldn't let me reserve cancelation now (for next month) and want me to call them a week before cancellation. Is this normal?
I remember having to wait until two weeks before with one of my utility companies at one point. They said something about them not being able to schedule the account closing before then.
