I want to take a break from wow. If I cancel the subscription, my character's will still be there right? Is there a limit until they expire?
Reason why I want to cancel just in case you guys care: I hit 70 3 weeks ago and haven't touched the game since. It seems like a waste of money to pay for next month because I am pretty sick of wow. I might come back during summer if I have some free time.

look in their faq's, most mmo's will keep your char 1-2+ years after cancelling

Blizzard hopes that you fall back under their spell.
They hope you will ignore your family, friends, life, and maybe even your personal hygiene.
...
They are probably right

Blizzard "has no plans to start deleting characters" (paraphrasing) according to their FAQ.
They will keep it indefinitely.

Mine was canceled for over 1.5 years and all my stuff was still there when I logged on this month :D
