- It's the most multicultural city in N.America and maybe even the world. (you see it all here: chinese, filipino, indian, portugese, jamaicans, italians etc)
- Home of the best (ok i'm pushing it) NBA team (RAPTORS)

Ever hear of New York? I think they got you beat on both these points.

Maybe on the NBA team... but multiculturally? I doubt it. I've been to NYC a few times, and although it is diverse, it's nowhere near the diversity of Toronto.

Just do a search on google... all the sites point to Toronto.

Heres one.

Interesting article. I have never actually been to T.O so I can't really make an informed opinion. Based on pictures and on what my friends who live in Ontario have said about Toronto...I think Vancouver is still nicer. IMO. Personally I can't wait to move to the Okanagan Valley...much more peacful and nice and dry and hot in the summer!

**disclaimer**I am not knocking anyone from Ontario or where they live...just my opinion!:)

No, other way around. She will have to pay the darn Coquihalla toll to give you a :lips: when the Canucks win the Cup. It better be next year because Naslund won't play forever.

haha, UPer. ;)

As for Canada...it's one of the reasons that I love Toronto, that being that they're all very kind and whatnot...I have no qualms about walking around downtown at 4AM...the homeless people sleeping on the street freaked me out at first, but then I just walked over/around them ;)

And Aquaman....maybe we'll have to do a pre-Stanley Cup Kiss...just in case I'm gone by the time the Canucks win it!;) Shhhhh....don't tell Andre!;)

I've been to Canada but didn't have much time to interact with people other than my own family members. I like the atmosphere but I wouldn't want to live there. :p

The United Nations would beg to differ. They have rated Toronto the most ethnically diverse city in the world. Almost half of all Torontonians were born outside of Canada, and almost half of all Torontonians are a visible minority.

Now the basketball team is another story...

I live in Wisconsin and it's like that here.

Other than driving through, went to Wisconsin finally about two weeks ago for some work in Madison then Beloit then Sturtevant then Kenosha. Decided that Wisconsin folks are possibly the finest folks in the U.S. It was just so nice there and the people are just great. Had no idea such a place existed. It is nice.

So far so good. The wife is having trouble finding a job, but I not only managed to talk my way into a job that didn't exist. I got promoted to manager and just had my second raise in the last 3 weeks. I guess I'm doint alright.
