I don't usually post rants, but I woke up yesterday morning with the enthusiasm of Spring and get ready to take my little one out for a day in the park and what do you know, it's friggin' snowing in MID APRIL!!!
I'm sorry but this has just gone from frustrating and tiresome to completely LUDICROUS.(sp?)
When exactly does spring plan to come around here? in August? September? Oops sorry, you missed summer this year. Here comes WINTER again!!!
GRRRRR I'm so tired of it. No wonder some people suffer from seasonal affective disorder. This season is affecting my brain!
Does anyone know of any sedative that could knock my hubby out long enough to move us all to Texas or FLorida? Anything beats this terrible weather.

My apologies, people. I just really need some warm sunshine in order to function. 🙁
 
You're right, Czar. It's just extra hard on someone who's grown up with 90-degrees farenheit weather.🙁

Same thing happened here in Muskegon, Mi. Went to class monday and it was snowing, granted it didn't last long or snow very heavy but it was still disappointing to see it snow this late in april.

YOur just in the wrong part of canada. It was 22c out here in bc last week. I've been wearing short and a t-shirt for weeks.

Sorry you have to live out east. They give us a bad name 😉
 
It's high of +14 today. Not hot...but that cold, and the sun is suppose to shine all day. It snowed a bit the last week, not much though and it didn't stick. And it wasn't even all that cold.

And my family back home in Victoria has been walking their dogs on the beach for weeks.

You just shouldn't live out east. Besides...how do you see the snow through all that smog? 😉
 
Canada has the best skiing/snowboarding in North America. Too bad it isn't in Ontario though. 😉

you actually get a nice hot summer where you can bathe in water that won't turn you blue in 6 seconds?

oh I don't know, icemanjer. The vancouver Canucks have been doing ok I guess, but Cujo has really been pulling some amazing games out of his arse lately to keep the Leafs around.
What's Vancouver got? Are the guys cute there?😉

Edit: Peeps are mashmallow chicks and bunnies covered in glitter sugar. very very very bad for you🙂
 
Gotta say tho, it ain't all just CuJo, the entire team has been amazing lately. Once Canucks gets out of the playoffs, I'm sure most of us will turn the attention towards Leafs or Oilers (they're tied 2-2!!).

I swim in the ocean from may to october. Sometimes as early as march. Btw in the ochanagen valley about 3 hours east of vancouver they have temps in the summer taht are around 40c. Pretty nice. AS for the coast in the summer it's usaually around 25c and in the winter the coldest in my 14 years here that i can remember is -10C.

AS for hot guys don't worry there's plenty 😉

yups, vancouver weather is always nice cuz they live next to the ocean. so in the winter, the winds coming from the ocean warms the air up to keep the temp around 0ºC. and in the summer, the cool ocean breeze keeps the temperatures moderate but not scorching hot.

if not for the pacific, Vancouver would be just like winnepeg (-50 in winter, 50 in summer).

anyway, I'm starting to get pissed off at toronto weather, though I'm not seeing any snow, but -8 (with windchill) in mid april ain't a walk in the park at all! worst thing is, hoochies aren't willing to wear short skirts and tank tops while it's freezing cold outside 🙁🙁🙁!!! Vancouver, here I come 😀

urameatball: Just have to add one thing about the ocean winds...the Pacific is a warm ocean.

The eastern provinces have Atlantic winds, but the Atlantic is a much colder ocean than the Pacific.
