I understand that it sucks that some of these secrets that are being released could result in harm to innocent people. But, it disgusts me how much the government keeps secret. It seems like the "default" procedure for government is to censor stuff, and only release little bits and pieces.
That is completely ass backwards. 99.999% of all government corespondents should be open, with only the very very most secret of things censored. Blueprints for nuclear bombs = censored, political dealings with other countries = public. Things are way too authoritarian.

Treason is also defined as aiding the country's enemies. Exposing "dirty little secrets" certainly aids the country's enemies.

While i do agree somewhat that he's guilty of treason in Australia, i don't think it's because of what you think it is because of.

Lay off Eskomospy, his service and clearance isn't in question, never has been, yours however, is a made up claim from the Netherlands.
