Canadian model Tecra Laptop question ...

I got an email from a guy saying he has this for sale:

Toshiba Tecra 8100 Model PT810C-11C52 (Canadian Model)
Pentium III 550 MHz
384MB of Ram
10GB HDD
Internal DVD-Rom
2 PCMCIA slots, both working
The only difference seems to be that the Canadian model makes it harder to install a Domestic Grade Microsoft OS. Red Hat Linux installs just fine.


My question is: Is installing the OS really gonna be the only trouble I come into? What else should I look for?
