Canada's new plastic money

Good idea. Interested on how bill changers and vending machines make the changeover. I really wish we had more support for pay by NFC. I'd much rather just wave my phone in front of a coke machine and get a soda.

"mistaken for sex toys"

WTF?
They must be really desperate if they're mistaking a double-helix for a sex toy. Either that or Canada gets way better sex toys than we do.

Plastic money is pretty badass. I have a $10 note from Hong Kong that's plastic and has a window in it... It's also really colorful. It looks way better than our money, which is unfortunate, because it's basically worthless.

Are you forgetting where the Canadian dollar stands against your almighty dollar? :hmm:

Now they should bring back the $2 and $1, as wearing out was the excuse for dropping them...

Tired of change weighing me down.

Rubba dolla bills y'all! Can't wait to make it bounce at the strip club with these!

I see none of the craziness in the bills that Candians purport to have seen. How they saw "sex beads" in a double helix is beyond me, much less the figure of a woman in the transparent cut out area. Did they try to smoke these bills and get high or what?

Nah, I prefer the coins. i use the Loonies for laundry and the Toonies get tossed into a container. The Toonies are piling up fast.
