CanadaPost

:roll:CanadaPost, for when it absolutely, positively, doesn't matter when or if it ever reaches it's destination!

Jeez, these folks make me not want to complain when USPS raises my postage stamp price every six months

This is just a minor rant because I've been waiting over two weeks for a package mailed from Canada. I could have driven there & back in half the time, but of course the price of gas would have bankrupted me in the process.

Anyway, back to waiting...

its true!
but at least they refund your shipping when its late (so always send express-post) 😀

Working for me too now. Maybe they saw my complaint 😉

Still no update since the 25th: Item accepted and entered into sortation plant

This was for Expidited USA service, I wonder how slow their normal service is?

Glendor...

Relax... Canada's IT guy was probably trying to work out a bug in their tank's targting software. When he gets that taken care of he can work on the post office's website. 😀

It was mailed "Expedited USA", but it seems that Canada does not have the same defination of Expedited as we do in the US. Here, Expedited means to speed up or complete quickly. There, it means that your package will take at lease 11 business days, and is their slowest ground transport. Anyway, back to waiting...

Yeah, it's common knowledge that Canada Post is horrendous. How sad is it that we can only aspire to be as efficient as the U.S. Postal Service? 😛

Shipping in Canada has always been significantly slower & more expensive than in the US.

It is to be expected, because we are amazingly spread out, and our major centres are seldom over 1 million people.

If it was shipped Canada Post, it was handed off to USPS at the border... so blame them... 😛
