Your going to be waiting till the end of the year for something like that and I bet it wont be below $300 either. I picked up the Gigabyte 7970 OC last week from NCIX with the 2 games for $360 from the USA store. New cards will be $500 to $600 so I wouldn't bet on much of a price drop then where they are at now.

I picked up the Gigabyte 7970 OC last week from NCIX with the 2 games for $360 from the USA store. New cards will be $500 to $600 so I wouldn't bet on much of a price drop then where they are at now.

Imported, can you please confirm what the maximum GPU voltage is on that card? Was your Giga 7970 voltage locked? Could be useful information for prospective buyers.

You could use this program to check maximum voltage under ChiL 8228 reading called "GPU VRM Voltage (VOUT/VID)

Standard voltages for HD7970 are 1.174-1.175V and 1.256V for HD7970 Ghz cards.

You could also use GPU-Z (Sensor Tab -> VDDC -> Show Highest Reading).

I would if I could, won't receive the card until Wednesday, I can let you know then, from what I have heard it is voltage locked, not a big deal to me as I dont normally overclock my video cards but I could see how it would be useful to others.
