I wonder if he will trade my deed for Mars for that

I've got 4,000 acres moon property that is much closer to Earth. For 2,000 acres I think they will have to give it to me.

Considering Canada burned down half the White House at one point, I'd say if they want to claim it, let them. You could say they earned it.

Canada never burned down the White House. That's a myth created and spread by Canadians to make themselves feel important. British regulars from the Iberian Peninsula campaign burned down the White House in response to the Americans burning down parts of York (Toronto). So reality is that Americans partially burned down what later became Toronto and the Canadians did nothing to the White House.

It should be also be noted those same British failed to take the Baltimore port (the real object of the Chesapeake Campaign). The shipyards in Baltimore were extremely active in building ships known as Baltimore Clippers that were very popular with the American privateers during the War of 1812.

The British don't like to talk about the fact that American privateers nearly brought British maritime commerce to it's knees. They even operated in British home waters with near impunity taking prize ships.

So what if the person has a deed, with the new eminent domain ruling, deeds mean nothing any more!

Filed a Deed in Canada for property in the US? What makes anyoen think that'd be legal anyway... And it's the government. They can just use the emminant domain to take it back.

We invaded, then proceeded to sack Washington, and burn down the presidential residence.

🙂

Correct me if I'm wrong but since when Canada was....Canada in 1812? I believe it was the British red coats that burned down the White House.

That's stupid. Canada should just start a war against U.S(WMD would be a good working excuse).
WTF is this stupid bidding thing? Oh wait, that's because Canada doesn't have enough WMD to fight against U.S. Given that, Canada really needs to get rid of silly health care program and pour all that money into building WMDs. Once Canada has more WMD than U.S, then Canada can proudly blaim U.S for their WMDs and how those are threat to the world.

Hey, don't dis the Canadian military. They've got a tank! They might not be able to find the keys, but if they do watch out.
Ok, I must have missed it somewhere. Can someone please explain the Canada/tank joke? It's been popping up in just about every forum here so far.
