So where were the accusations of censorship when nikelodean, HBO, al jazeera and other channels got the same treatment?

or perhaps O'Reilly and his retarted watchers are just making a mountain out of a molehill? No, that can't be it. O'Reilly is a bastion of journalic integrity.

Those stations were turned down for various reasons. The CRTC (Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission) doesn't have to explain its decisions. It just makes them.

As for that crap:

"Set aside for the moment that Fox News is the dominant news network in the United States, leaving the increasingly dreary CNN far behind. (Never mind CBS, ABC and NBC, which have been reduced to marginal status, sandwiching tame news items between ads for new products for seniors.)
Hahaha. Fox's propaganda can't convince anyone of that statement. Even CBS has more news watchers than Fox.

That's all FoxNews is good for: Propaganda. Fair and Balanced my a$$.

Maybe in Canada you have to Actually Be have a base in journalism and adhere to the principles of being a reporter and journalist to broadcast news.

In that case Fox fails. They are 24hr Editorialized commentary on the news with car chases and hot chicks.

Maybe its because those hot chicks aren't nude :D

Umm..

I like his idea.

Any station that has to continually tell its viewers that it is fair and balanced must be neither. Otherwise, its viewers would already understand that. Also, calling the US the bastion of freedom of political expression is from a US perspective. I bet if you asked a Brit who is able to express themselves more, you would get a different answer. Anyway, have you heard of the Patriot Act? If you ever need an example of losing freedom, that is it. As far as Canada banning Fox "News", why would a country want a "news" program that does not tell of its news? Do you see us trying to get a Candian news feed established as national news? It just doesn't make sense.

Fox has been sued and lost so many times it's not funny. The have been found to lie and tell thier reporters to lie. They have never won any peer reviewed award for journalsism (peer review is the typical way you know you respected by colleages, the ultimate complement) What a joke. But then any station hiring an "inside edition" hack as thier main man has issues.

Fox News is a non-partisan, spin-free, quality news source. They haven't recieved any peer awards from other journalists because they are an across the grain, "media rebel," and not part of the liberal media. They have the highest ratings, which also makes other journalists jealous, and indicates that the American people can recognize them as the best source for information in our dangerous, constantly changing world.
