Hi.
I want to buy some tires and they only ship with UPS. My total order will come to $338.50 USD. I want to buy the tires, ship with UPS, then clear the customs myself. However, I called UPS and they said I would have to go to the port of entry to get the paperwork for clearing customs. I live in Calgary and the port of entry is Winnipeg. According to the UPS customer service, there is no way for me to clear my package myself in Calgary and I would have to go to Winnipeg. Obviously this is not feasible, so I would like some advice on what I should do. Is there any other sort of way to avoid the customs charges or will I just have to suck it up and pay it?
