Can z-560 be used with an AV receiver?

I currently have a logitech z-560 and am happy with it's performance, but want to set up a home theater setup, ideally to use jointly with both my PC and DVD player and tv. What is the best way to go about this? JustDeals has a great deal on z-680 satellites, so I was thinking, if it is possible, I could just grab those and a receiver and hook it all together.

The z-560 uses the black and green plug that go into the sound card from the subwoofer. Is there some sort of adapter that I could get? The sub has built in amplifier so I was thinking a 5.1 receiver with 100 watts per channel would take care of the satellites since they are only rated for around 60 watts each. Anyone with more knowledge want to help me out on this? Thanks!

That could be of use in the future so thanks for the link, but unfortunately the z-560's only have the black and the green plug, not the orange since technically they are not "true" surround sound.

There is no way to (to my knowledge) get full surround out of a 1/8 jack. thats why true PC surround systems use 3 1/8 jacks. with my Panasonic Xr55 (brand new digital receiver) the only way i can do an analogue input from a PC is with a 1/8" to RCA adaptor, which goes into the headphone/stereo output on the pc and splits it to red/white rca jacks for stereo input into the receiver. thats beside the point though, because the only way i can think of to hook PC speakers up to an AV receiver is if you use that little adaptor john linked and just use stereo RCA outputs adapted to the speaker 1/8 inputs. does that make since? that won't be 5.1, but thats the only way i can think of to connect PC speakers. Now, i can (and regularly do) use an optical audio cable and run from an SPDIF out on my PC to my receiver and use my theatre speakers (sig) to get full surround in movies/games (if the games support it) but to my knowledge thats really the only other way to incorperate audio directly from a PC to a receiver. hope that helped some, let me know if you have some more questions. is Yoyoyohowsthejello still around here? he could help too.

Yeah, that helps alot...So actually it looks like my best bet is to either buy a seperate home theater system and just keep my PC and TV close together (it is all in my bedroom).

Now the only question is to keep the z-560's as a 2nd set or to sell them...
