can your trillian log on to yahoo messenger?

my trillian can only log on to MSN and ICQ but not yahoo messenger. I check toggle status and it says invalid password. So I enter the password again, still no go. WTF.....By the way, I got the newest version of trillian. Plz help me!

Are you able to log in to yahoo messenger with the actual client with the exact username and password you're using with trillian? could it be the password you're typing is actually invalid for the username you're entering, like trillian says? trillian usually doesn't have problems like the one you described. but what do I know..

yes I can. This is strange...I am guessing it's not the password problem but rather the username problem. Is the user name always the email address in yahoo?

Also, since I am a newbie...you are expecting more than just one question right?
Why does my trillian show +msn(0/3) on the top? Why not something like +icq(o/3) or +yahoo(0/3) .....? I guess I can switch it...but how?
Also, I've re-make sure that my password is correct...so wtf is wrong with yahoo messenger?

for your msn one, you need to have username@someplace.com for your yahoo one, just your username
