Can you write in cursive?

I had to write something by hands yesterday, and let me tell you, it was not pretty. My n looks like a u, my h looks like retarded l, and I couldn't even tell my u from my v.

Time to break out the notepad, no, not notepad.exe.

I'd have to think about it. Only time I ever use "cursive" is for my signature, and even that has evolved into just 3 letters.

Yes, i write in cursive a lot. My writing is not amazingly beautiful, but it is nice and legible.

I never really could, and now it is truly awful. When I took the California bar exam (I was 27 at the time), we had to copy a paragraph in cursive to give them a handwriting sample, which I guess was meant to help ensure you didn't send someone in to take the test for you. I pretty much only block print, and frankly don't even do that all that often, so my cursive was just ridiculous. It looked like a mentally-challenged stroke victim had written it.

I don't think I could write most of the capital cursive letters at this point, and if any word had a "q" or a "z" in it I'd be screwed.

I write in cursive in my journal/diary, so yes. Well, my cursive is at least no less legible than my plain print.

😕 What do you normally use? Your feet? 😛

Of course I can. I went to private school where they teach you to read and write.

How's the air up there on your high horse, Pale Rider? 😉 I went to a private school too. Learned to read and write (in cursive no less). Haven't used it in at least 15 years.

agree completely...but the signature thing is just a lack of picking up the writing utensil usually 😛

LOL, the only thing legible from my signature is the first letter in my first name, and the first letter in my last name.

I think I'm pretty good about writing in cursive; however, I share the same problem as you where I can not always tell my Vs from my Us.

i think guys lack the gene for good cursive penmanship. we should rename it penwomanship.

 Take it, it's yours! Ought to change menopause to womenopause while we're at it. I don't want to get blamed for that!

Last time I wrote in cursive on a regular basis was when I was in Catholic grade school. Only time I use it now is to sign my name.
