Can you watch mkv/flv files at 1.5x speed on ipad?

Hello!
I am new to the ipad scene and have a ton of videos to watch. They are in mkv/flv format and so far I have been able to watch them with the app MoliPlayerHD. They play great but I can't find a option to watch the videos at 1.5x speed like on VLC player on the desktop.

Went to this site but they don't comment on 1.5x speed playback

Can you explain to me what you are doing watching movies at 1.5x speed? I am sure there's some perfectly good reason that I am missing. Is this some sort of fad?

I was just about to ask the same thing. Are you in that much of a hurry??
 
I am guessing there's something more to this story like maybe it's a fun way to watch MLP episodes or something.

Maybe it is like the people that listen to podcasts on 2x, they just process the information faster.

Maybe he is only watching the videos for the articles the dialogue.
