Can you wash a comforter in the washing machine?

I have a comforter that kinda needs to be washed, but I'm not sure if it is safe to do in the washing machine. I cut the tag off so no directions. It is cotton I guess, just a cheap bed in a bag comforter.

Oh and I spilled chocolate milk on it last night tis why.

i do... the problem is the cotton inside starts to kinda gettin uneven. Becareful not to overload the washer...

yes, you can wash it in the washer....

tumble dry....should be fine

I would use warm or cold but not HOT
you may get shrinkage :Q
