Can you use two wireless routers to improve signal?

Right now my setup is DSL modem connected to a Netgear WGT624 (Super G) router that has two PCs hard wired to it and one PC connected wirelessly via a WG311T (Super G). For some reason my signal strength has dropped considerbly (from Excellent down to Good and sometimes Low) and I have changed nothing.

My question is this, I have an extra Netgear WGT624 router and was wondering if I could replace the wireless Netgear WG311T PCI card with the router and have the two routers talk to each other and hopefully gain some signal strength.

Thanks...

Nope. Two wireless Routers can Not talk one to the other. Besides the Router looks big, but the radio inside is the same as the PCI card.

Could be that the PCI Card, stuck behind the Case is masked. Extending the Antenna above or using a USB card instead might help.

If your problem is related to distance you can extent the distance by using the second Router as an extra Access point.
