Can you use two DVD drives?

I have two DVD drives on this computer I'm building, the Pioneer Black DVD+RW/-RW Drive and NEC 8X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW Drive.

My friend tells me that I can't have two DVD drives in a single computer, as the computer won't be able to read this. Is this true? Time to get an RMA?

Your mate is a bell-end. Probably just wants one of your DVD-RWs for himself.

You can connect both or indeed as someone pointed out, as many as you want as long as you have the space/connections for them.

In my 'old, barely used, just for laugh' system, i had 4 CD drives connected and working >>> x2 CDROM, x4 CDROM, x32 CDROM and a CDRW - cool huh????
