Can you use the NT net start/stop command to start/stop services remotely?

Anyone know if there is some way to use this command (or another like it) to remotly to start/stop services? I usually just use the MMC but I have a group of computers I want to start/stop a service on remotely and need something much less time consuming.

FYI it looks like Win XP already has SC.exe in your system32 dir. so no need to get out the resource kit.

There are apps like the one that you have found will do what you need, but telnet/SSH also can do what you want. Then there are graphical apps such thing as Remote Desktop, PC Anywhere, Remote Administrator, and VNC can do all of what you want & more.

None of those apps/solutions are good for doing a large number of machines at once.

I like this because I can run it with a batch script, you cant do that with terminal services.
