Hi guys.

I have a Dell bluetooth stereo headset with mic incorporated.
I want to use this to have conversations with my iPod touch, using voip software.

Can this be done? I'm asking because when I pair the headset with my iPod, the new voice notes app says I don't have any mic.

In case it can't be done, can I use my headset with an added mic, connected to the audio plug in in the touch? I referring to something like this:

Thanks!

Yes, you can add a microphone to a 2nd generation iPod Touch through the audio plug.

Bluetooth? I thought that was wireless?

Sorry, Corkyg, I was answering the second half of the question. Uli2000 is right. You can't do it with Bluetooth.

So I was answering the "in case it can't be done [with Bluetooth], can I use my headset with added mic?" part of the post.
