Mac mice have worked on PCs ever since Apple switched from ADB to USB. When their "buttonless" optical mouse came out about 4 years ago they were stolen like crazy from stores and school computer labs because they looked different. Nowadays nobody wants a one button mouse, I know some college computer technicans that recently dug out the original Apple mice to replace a bunch of stolen Logitech MX510 mice from a lab of Apple G5s. Because Apple keyboards have a little USB hub in them, most people just plug the mouse into the keyboard -- which makes the mice REALLY easy to steal. The solution? Use a one button Apple mouse and nobody will steal 'em anymore!
