Can you use dsl to call long distance?

Yes, but you have to use one of those internet call thingys. You can also use dial up to call...doesn't have to be dsl. When i couldn't get thru the phone lines during 9/11 in nyc, i used internet calling...which for some reason worked.

But wouldn't the quality with dsl be better than dialup? Are there any other sites that offer pc to phone calling, esp international. thanks
