Can you use Cat5e patch panel with Cat6 cable?

So... I am going to be terminating some ethernet wiring for a friend and I think he might have run Cat6 cabling. But most of the patch panels out there are made for Cat5e (and 5e is cheaper). I can't think of any real reason why these two parts wouldn't be compatible... he isn't going to be doing gigabit or anything crazy... just some plain old home networking.

Will the Cat5e patch panel work with Cat6 cabling?

TIA!

It'll work. Just for any sort of "official" record it will be Cat5E, which is sufficient for 10/100/1000mbps ethernet, so no biggy.
