Can you upgrade Win 7 Home to Win 10 Pro with Win 7 Pro key?

I would assume no,
As the upgrade will see what version is on the machine when upgrading from within windows

But I suppose you could upgrade to 10 home and then change the product key once in windows 10 and it might activate, but do not know
 
No, I've tried. you have to install windows 7 pro, activate it and upgrade that or install win 10 pro using the win 7 pro key.
