Can you update some software to allow using 64mb Smartmedia on original Rio PMP 300?

Is it possible to get some software upgrade or something to make the original Rio PMP300 be able to use 64mb Smart media cards?

I asked this question a while back and the people said no back then. I dont think that the Rio PMP 300 is going to be updated anymore at all. I have had nothing but problems with mine anyways. Mine pauses itself all the time because I think there is a problem with the headphone jack.
