Can you think of a movie that went straight to video...

As I'm drifting to sleep last night in my Ambien daze I started wondering if theres ever been a straight to video movie that's ended up being a huge success but couldn't think of any.

I see all these straight to DVD releases on DVD release date sites all the time though so I guess to some extent they turn a profit or else they wouldn't continue making them, right?

EDIT: to clarify, has been a HUGE success money wise, such as rivaling the success of a box office movie and has never been or never will be in theaters.

yes i watched it and i hated it. i was probably the only one in the group that hated it though. i just don't see the appeal of the movie.

I loved it the first time I saw it, and I still like it but I recognize its cheesyness at times. I'll still recommend it to anyone who asks, because most people love it.
