Can you tell which LCD is running off of DVI? (w/Pic)

My girlfriend swears she cant tell the diff, but i sure as hell can tell which is DVI and which is VGA. She thinks its pointless to buy a new dual head DVI vid card...

why 2 monitors? seems silly to me.

but the one on the left is the DVI right?

OMG.. I want DVI now..

Anyway to get a Trinitron monitor with DVI? I don't care too much for LCD's yet..

Its soo useful for 3d animation/editing/etc...

uh, for a tube monitor, you wouldn't get any better picture from dvi over vga.

The picture is too chatoic to make a sure bet, But id say left.

It really doesnt matter though. She doesnt need to buy a dual headed DVI card. She should buy a new boyfriend.

The right is worse than the left, but you can tweak the picture on the right monitor to compensate. From the crappy pic, I'd say the contrast needs to go up and the brightness down. That should give you a brighter white and a darker black. Between that and tweaking the RGB levels you should get the monitors to a point where the difference between them is minimal - assuming of course that you've got a good VGA cable.

EDIT: And I'd have to agree with the GF. You're going to spend a lot more on a dual DVI video card than you need to. Tweak the analog connection and bide your time until dual DVI cards are common.
